Medical - Patient Care Support

Under the general supervision of the Laundry Supervisor, this position: collects, sorts, records and loads linen. Operates all laundry equipment. Loads
and unloads dryers. Folds linen and restocks shelves and carts. Delivers exchange carts and fills requests for clients as required. Must be capable of performing heavy, repetitious manual
labour.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 16.75 per hour   Maximum: 18.28 per hour
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 preferred.
- Previous experience in a commercial/institutional laundry setting preferred.
- Knowledge of WHIMIS desired.
- Ability to follow oral and written instruction required.
- Physically fit, able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision required.
- Ability to establish workflow pattern required.
- Possess good numerical and clerical skills required.
- Ability to operate a sewing machine required.
- Ability to push and pull carts that weigh up to approx. 180 kgs.
Please note this position is located 60 kms south of Calgary

$18.28/per hour
