Occupational Therapist

Reporting to an Area Manager, the Community Care Coordinator screens and assesses the needs of individuals and their families who cannot function
independently in the community; by mobilizing and managing health and social resources required. In addition, monitors resources to ensure they improve or maintain the person's and the families'
abilities to function.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.73 per hour   Maximum: 43.55 per hour
Qualifications:
- Completion of a post secondary, diploma or university degree program in Occupational Therapy.
- Two years or recent experience (obtained within the last five years); in the absence of recent experience. Previous community related experience a definite asset.
- Active registration the AAROT.
- Geriatric experience an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills - be able to efficiently organize many details in a time efficient manner.
- Ability to monitor financial accountabilities and proven assessment skills.
- Proven critical thinking and decision making skills.
- Possession of a valid drivers' license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work related travel.
- Physically able to perform all assigned tasks.
- Ability to perform all duties in accordance with related legislation
