Diagnostic Sonographer I

The position is responsible for providing and performing the highest quality service possible, to the clients of Diagnostic Imaging Services. This is
done in an effective, efficient and safe manner. As a member of the Diagnostic Imaging team this position is responsible for working all shifts, as assigned. This position performs Tele U/S.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 34.46 per hour   Maximum: 44.44 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved training program in Ultrasonography.
- Member in good standing and current registration/eligible for registration with CARDUP.
- Vascular certification desired.
- Previous experience require.
- Good organizational skills and ability to assume responsibility.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to cooperate.
- Ability to work independently and promote good teamwork.
- A demonstrated interest in professional growth.
- Perception, initiative, good judgment and concern for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to demonstrate tact and courtesy in dealing with patients, staff and physicians.
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Computer skills.
- BCLS certification.
- IV certification, as required.
Please note this position is located outside of the Calgary city limits. (45 km east of Calgary)
